BLD Decor & Scenery has wrapped the old year and sprung into spring. We've put some wonderful projects to bed, and are waking the neighbours with fresh ideas and energetic new themes.

Air End Client

On behalf of Atlantis Creative Group, BLD D&S designed and produced the experience of a First Class Flight for a sales presentation space. Guests were issued 'boarding passes', and entered the room through a 'Bridgeway', creating anticipation as the main room was hidden from view until actually 'boarded'.

The room itself was treated with hardwalls that were branded for 'Air Twinrix' (the end client), and graphic 'portholes' with a panoramic cloudscape. We could all see the potential for developing the project further with additional collateral, such as travel kits, seatback screens, and 'in flight services'. Alas, time & budget allowed only the initiation of a great concept, but we've kept it in stock for you to expand upon!

Winter Wonderland

For a grand finale to 2007, we produced a Winter Wonderland in the lobby of the EA Sports facility, on behalf of WOW! Productions. The client wanted to treat their guests and employees to a very natural winter experience, to offset the high tech environment and the pressures of corporate culture.

Our solution was a mountain range panorama, filling the huge atrium with snow-scaped mountains, trees, and local fauna. The floor to ceiling windows were treated with 'frost' effects and snowflakes, letting natural light wash the scene, and encapsulating the environment.

These mountains are available in summer or
winter dress; 12' h x 24' w.

BLD D&S has DRAPE!!!

BLD D&S is pleased to announce that we have recently invested in 400' of Pipe & Drape. Our hardware is all anodized black. Uprights extend to 22' high. Our drape panels are made from 15 oz black velour, that come in 5 foot wide panels. We also own double batten adapters which are very handy for adding headers or creating swag treatments within your drape line.

We also carry an extensive selection of white sheers, poly-white backdrops, traveler track, and fibre optic star drops. Keep checking in with us as we will be continuing to invest in drape, hardware & accessories.
