Cool New Products
We now have a great stock of plexi glass cubes with battery lighting. These are GREAT for furniture accents, cool buffet dressing, stacked displays, food presentation, set pieces. Caterers - you will love these. We have 18” x 18” x 18“ , 2’ x 2’ x 2’, and 18 x 18 x 36” high. These go really well with all our backlit set elements.

Torches
Speaking of backlit set elements, take a look at our new torches! Are you looking for a Fire or Fire and Ice theme? How about torches for an Olympic event? They can be lit any colour. These backlit pieces are incredibly versatile. If we take just the columns, light them blue, and put an ice sculpture on them - you have a beautiful ice display!

LARGE INSURANCE COMPANY
Recently, a certain large insurance company was in town that pulled out all the stops, filling the entire VCEC for a week. This is one of those shows where we see the depth of Vancouver’s event community shine. There were dozens of local companies on site and they all did, by the client’s own estimation, a FANTASTIC job. It looked great, it ran smoothly and without a hitch, and everybody was in great spirits. It has to be said - Vancouver’s events industry is a great place to work.

BLD supplied design support services, and staging / deck carp for the main session room in hall B, and full set support from design to completion, for the second room in ballrooms B&C.

Overall, we’ve had a great and very busy spring! Stay tuned for the next episode, featuring new faces, new places, and of course the latest and greatest in dynamic decor and scenery solutions. Hooray for Spring!
