Canadian Pride
It never hurts to re-look at the mainstay themes that are staples for us here in the Vancouver event market. Sometimes we, as event planners, groan at submitting the old stand-bys like the Canadiana event. The reality is, however, for someone coming to Vancouver, mountains and mounties are a key selling feature. Furthermore, our country and our city are a source of pride for us and we want to show it off in its best light. We here at BLD take the challenge of making this standard event fresh and interesting. Our decor immerses our guests in an authentic Canadian experience. At BLD we can say categorically that we have some of the best Canadiana decor in the city. BLD has enough sets and themed decor to fill a ballroom and multiple banquet tables full of great looking Canadian imagery.

PNE Extreme Eats - a radical doggery dude
We're more than just a decor shop. We are a wrap around scenic facility that not only enjoys working in decor, florals, buffet decor, and room treatments, we're also capable of permanently themed structures. This recently completed themed concession for the PNE attests to BLD's ability with anything themed and scenic.
The aim was to make this concession family friendly and cool for the PNE's teen demographic. Hip and cool was the name of the game with plant-ons and 3D features being a requirement. BLD came up with a look that fit this bill. We presented our design proposal in the form of a solid marketing strategy; coming up with the theme, the name, the graphics, and the design, all tied together in a cohesive package. We then delivered on time and on budget.
